Nightmare!

I guess today is my unlucky day eh? I was scared to max this morning, until I couldn't continue driving anymore. Totally freaked out I guess. SIGH! Don't tell me I got PHOBIA now?!  =(

*Flash back the incident that happened this morning*

I was driving to KL along with my brother to fetch his girlfriend, Hui Li who came all the way down from Mentakab. The road was kind of congested this morning which I don't know why, even it was around 11am. After fetching Hui Li from bus station, we decided to drop her at ATC college to do her stuffs. And this scary incident happened.

On the way ME driving to ATC college, there was one motorcycle way in front of me, which I don't know why I noticed him so well, and I told my brother, "Look at the motorist in front, he wasn't paying attention while driving, he kept of turning his head backwards, but didn't reduce his speed of driving." Then my brother told me to be careful of motorcycles while driving on the road. They may switching lanes all at a sudden. I just listened while continue driving on the congested road.

The traffic was kind of slow though. So when I was driving on a fly-over bridge along Jalan Kinabalu, there came the motorist that I mentioned before. The road itself is kinda narrow *if you know KL routes*, just freaking TWO LANES. Then on my left was a freaking HUGE TRAILER driving in a NOT SLOW speed. So that motorist insisted to pass by between my car and that trailer. And suddenly, his whole body + motorcycle ALMOST CRASHED to the trailer! Luckily the motorist himself pulled himself away from the trailer, if not I guess he must be in a serious injury now.

The guy was really mad that time, and he stared fiercely at us. So he stopped in front of me, and I was totally in shock! And that huge trailer went off like nobody business! There was a police traffic opposite us, but he didn't intend to choi us also. So that motorist asked us to come down from the car. My brother was freaking pissed off that time, because its not exactly our fault where the fault should be on that huge trailer! That trailer had over passed its lane, so when he tried to avoid the trailer, he came too close to my car and the incident happened.

The motorist which is a Malay young man scolded us like mad. I stayed in the car with Hui Li while my brother deal with him. He was too fierce until I was very panicked, don't know what to do. He insisted its OUR FAULT for making him ALMOST INJURED. But, I'm pretty sure I'm driving in my own lane. Then my brother was darn pissed off and decided to make a police report. But that Malay guy just went off angrily after taking my brother's number.

In the end, we still went to police station to make a police report. We were afraid that that Malay guy will revenge on us, like blackmailing us for money bla bla bla. So this is what happened to me this morning.

Luckily no one was injured in the incident. Phew! If not, I would definitely feel guilty for the rest of my life. But right now, I was kind of scared, phobia of driving now. SIGH! =(

Now Playing

Better Me - Fiona 薛凱琪

Am addicted to this song right now.
Lovin' the lyrics! :)

遠處海港傳來陣陣船笛
我一直飄零到被你揀起

如今望著反映窗戶玻璃
有個我陌生又熟悉

I can Smile a little more
Sing a little more

Feel a little more
全因為你

說好了要為幸福 一天天地練習
練習 Laugh a little more

Love myself a little more
要學會更加善待我自己
為你我變成了 Better me

甚麼距離都不算是真的分離
想念和默契能代替一切言語

有一天生命會老去 還好謝謝有你
在你眼中 I see the better in me

Coz I can Smile a little more

Sing a little more
Feel a little more 全因為你

說好了要為幸福 一天天地練習
練習 Laugh a little more

Love myself a little more
要學會更加善待我自己
為你我變成了 Better me

Now I promise to you
And I can swear to you

為你我 一定加倍 珍惜我自己
做一個值得你 驕傲的 Better me
一個值得你 愛的Better me

My confession

Things are getting better, I guess.
No more hatred, no more misunderstandings, no more boh song feeling from someone eh?
Well, maybe its no more, its LESS? *try to convince myself*
Let's take initiatives, to start making things better.
I promise, I'll be the better one  :)

Had my another freaking blood test this morning at NWC Clinic.
Results will be out in 2 weeks time. Next appointment date : 1 Sept!
Worried, but what to do? It's the life that I have to go through.

Experience of becoming of promoter!

From left : Carmen, Yours Truly & Hilda

Yes, we had accomplished our missions as a promoter at International Baby Expo @ KLCC Convention Centre!

We worked for 3 days, from 9.30am to 9pm, yet sometimes we ended earlier too. To be honest, job as a promoter is NEVER EASY. We have to stand most of the time, and of course interact with the customers most of the time too.

And what most important is, we have to make sure we convey the accurate information to customers. This is the toughest task among all, because I was really new to MAM baby products, and its BABY PRODUCTS! I don't have any experiences dealing with babies and also future mum-to-be. So I took quite some effort to do some research on MAM baby products before I started working, and also asked for opinions from Amelia and other senior promoters.

Well, Amelia and other senior promoters *aunty-aunties* are really approachable and 'sampat'. Those aunty-aunties are very friendly, funny, but sometimes quite mean too. But mean in a good way! =P  And Hilda and Carmen, they are awesome pretty bloggers with their own unique personalities. We get to know each other in that 3 days and it's definitely a great exposure for us! Indeed, all of them made my 3 days easier and happier!

During the 3 days working at International Baby Expo, I learnt a lot of new knowledge. Like, what bottles, teats and pacifiers should new-born babies use, how anti-colic bottles function, how manual breast pump, breast pads and nipple shields functions, how to carry a new-born baby in a correct posture etc. Its like, a free lesson in becoming a future mummy! =]

It was really tiring during the 3 days working as a promoter, my legs were like, going-to-break-off-anytime! LOL! But, it is an awesomely great experience for me! I get to meet a lot of adorable and chubby babies, lovely future-daddy-mummy-to-be. Owh yeah, I met Isaac and his wife, Janice as well as Shannon there too! Never regret of taking this job offer! All thanks to Jun Fook and Amelia! =]

Naan Delight!

My friend, Justin, strongly recommended us to visit the restaurant below during the trip to Malacca weeks ago. Well, we wondered why he insisted to bring us there, but after we tried out the food there, we finally understand why he said that to us. Have a read readers! :)

This is it!
Pak Putra Restaurant! =]

Pak Putra Restaurant gave me some 'Mamak' feelings when I first saw it.
What makes difference between Pak Putra Restaurant and mamak stalls in KL is, there are larger crowd in Pak Putra Restaurant compared to KL punya. It was my first time to see such a long crowd in mamak! LOL! And their all time fav food is NAAN!

When you think of NAAN, you think of Pak Putra Restaurant!

In fact, I don't really know what is Naan. My friends told me Naan is a type of Indian food, something like roti canai, but Naan is not oily.

According to Wikipedia source, naan is a leavened, oven-baked flatbread, which is well-known in West, Central and South Asia.

Menu.
*kinda blurr, but try to spot the word CHEESE*  =P

Milo DINOSAUR / Milo Tabur

Its my first time trying out Milo Dinosaur in my life time!
All my friends laughed at me when I asked them how to drink Milo Dinosaur.
Shall I mix the whole drink? Or just drink straight away? LOL!

Chicken Tandoori!

The chicken is fresh and nicely cooked! Really, YUMMY!
Also, my first time to eat Chicken Tandoori as well!

Kuah dal!
Might be a lil tasteless though.

My order : Cheese Egg Naan
Superby cheesy and delicious I tell you!
The filing was so well-distributed so you can taste every single inch of CHEESE!
They even have DOUBLE CHEESE and TRIPLE CHEESE as well!  =]

Location :
Pak Putra Tandoori & Naan
Jalan Laksamana 4,
75200, Melaka.

Luiz Cafe

The mini entrance to Luiz Cafe

Menu book

Food of the day! :)

Nyonya nasi lemak!
I wondered why the rice is BLUE in colour eh?
But it tastes nothing special like normal rice that we eat everyday though.

Tom Yam noodles!

Nyonya curry laksa!!

Durian cendol!
Owh my durian, this tastes really DELICIOUS! I love the durian paste, so smooth and strong smell! *AKU TYPICAL DURIAN LOVER*  =P

Nyonya cendol.

Rating : 3.5/5
Overall the food was okay, not too bad. I shall said its above average.
Environment : 3/5
Price : 2.5/5  *kind of pricey though*

Well, one NO GOOD about this Luiz Cafe is, one of the staffs there is kind of 'weird'. He kept on staring at us *specifically, GIRLS* while we had our meals there. Creepy right? So it makes us feel a lil comfortable while we visited the cafe the other day.

Nadeje Mille Crepe

WARNING : To all dessert lovers, make sure you are not hungry before you read the post below! =P

First thought : You visit Malacca for the first time. So what? Of course to taste all their famous delicacies.

Second thought : Aiyorr, eat so much. DIE LORR THIS TIME! Yes, you feel happy, satisfy to taste all their food. But, ladies, you gain weight. And guys, money all gone while the food digested in tummy!

My thought : EAT FIRST, AND PLAN WHATEVER I WANT AFTER THAT, whether I want to be on diet or bla bla bla. FOOD IS MY PRIORITY IN MALACCA!

Whatever it is, you come to Malacca, you must eat all you can! Make sure you have no regrets! And the first delicacy you must try it out is Nadeje Mille Crepe!

Nadeje, since 2006

Nadeje have only 3 BRANCHES in Malaysia, which all 3 are located in Malacca city itself.

Look how much we ordered eh?  =P

*ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM IN*

Original flavour  -  RM 9
*the best flavour among all that I tried*
It tastes wonderful, thumbs up for the smooth texture! :)

Berry berry strawberry!

Cheesie flavour!

Mocha flavour!
Smell like coffee from far! =P

What I like about Mille Crepe most is the finest texture they have which taste awesomely goodness!
The price is quite reasonable too. You won't get such a delicious and flavourful Mille Crepe in KL, but only in Malacca!
