"I never know that my parents would fulfill my wish, as in like so SOON."
So yeah, I changed my phone, like finally! I haven't posted anything about my new phone yet, so I'm gonna blog about it. I always wanted to change my old phone junkie into smartphone because everyone is using Whatsapp and Viber now, while I don't even have it.
All my friends are bugging me to change phone so they can chat with me FOC! LOL! Some of them even told me,
"GO GET WHATSAPP, IF NOT I WON'T TEXT YOU ANYMORE!", "SEE, I TOLD YOU TO GET WHATSAPP, NOW YOU'RE SO OUTDATED FROM ALL THE LATEST NEWS", as they chat in their whatsapp group.
Initially, I don't really wanted to change phone because I already have an iPad, and I don't want to waste such a money to purchase a new smartphone. I rather spend the money on food and studies. Typical big eater and nerd eh? =P
Then recently my sister wanted to buy a new phone too. She told my parents about the
BENEFITS of having a smartphone they were convinced by my sister.
So my parents decided to give the BOTH OF US a new smartphone each. We were overwhelmed by this news few weeks ago, and we started to search for our desire phones.
I shall officially, thank my sister here. Her CONTRIBUTION gives me a smartphone! Hahaha!
Then on last Friday, we went for shopping in One Utama, and we bought our phones from Samsung! My sister bought her Samsung Galaxy S Advanced, which costs around RM 999 while I purchased my ultimate desire phone, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which costs around RM 2299. I actually wanted to purchase Note 1, but they are no more selling it. I ended up buying Note 2 then.
My sister and I both told our parents that we wanted to fork out some money to buy our phones. So we will appreciate more and take care of our phones better if we use our own money to purchase the phones. In the end, each of us fork out a quarter of the phone's price.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
They were kind enough to give me free original phone cover, memory card and screen protector.
I was pretty surprised that I didn't get the pink cover.
Once I imagined to get a white colour smartphone in pink cover.
However, I get the blue cover in the end. LOL!
It looks like a brick if you ignore the blue colour, isn't it? =P
Anyway, this brick cover should be able to protect my phone from 'accidents'. Haha!
Titanium Grey - the colour I chose!
And I was surprised again that I didn't get the white colour one.
Instead, I get the titanium grey one, which is quite man and cool.
I don't know why, but Titanium Grey just caught my eye instantly on the spot.
I'm still in the process of adapting this phone because I'm not really familiar with the features. But I think I'm lovin' this phone, and I will use it wisely. Appreciate with what I'm having right now. =]
