And we can learn to love again?

Owh Maiiii Geeeee! Tomorrow shall be my first day of classes in Year 2, OFFICIALLY. It will be more hectic now as more modules are coming in, and the tasks given would be getting tougher. I'm feeling a little nervous now, because I will be driving to uni tomorrow *for the first time after I broke my leg*, fetching my younger sister to uni because it's her first day of uni life too, and wearing that bulky Transformer shoe to uni *kinda worried about how people looking at me*. But what I scared the most is, being late to class due to my Ah Po speed. Yeah, I can't run with that bulky shoe! :(  Hopefully tomorrow will be 'as smooth as silky silk'! =]

My current favourite song, keeps on playing in my head!
Just Give Me A Reason - Pink feat Nate Ruess (FUN)

Any nice songs to introduce? Hmmm.

Little Updates + Back 2 Skoooooool!

Top - Neon Pink top from H&M
Bottom - Plaited black skirt from Style Weekend Zalora
My OOTD the other day when I celebrated my besties, Lyn's birthday.

We had dinner in Burger Lab, and to be frank, the food was just okay.
I have no idea why the Burger Lab is packed with SO MANY people. The queue was amazingly LONG!

This was the queue even the Burger Lab was not opened yet.

Chicken dilemma - RM 21.50
The only thing that I like is the fries and the sauce they provided.
Waited for almost an hour for the food. I personally think that it's not worth though.  =X

Anyway, my semester break officially ended today, and this marks the end of my semester break. 3 months passed so fast eh? And I'm finally a Year 2 student, entering Semester 3 now. I guess I'm starting to grow more mature in terms of my way of thinking and making decisions since so many things happened to me recently.

Owh yeah, my leg is getting better now, as I only need to use one side of crutches to walk, with wearing the Transformer shoe. I'm so glad about this news because I don't have to use wheelchair to move around in campus. It would be extremely troublesome and eye catching too. The only problem I'm facing now is my transport to uni. I not sure whether I can drive to uni with my current leg condition. Plus, I haven't been driving since I broke my leg. Kepala sakit betul when I have to think of carpooling with my friends as our timetable varies from each other. Aihhhh!

Bumped into my 'long-lost' friends!!!
So happy when I met them after 3 months of no seeing each other. Miss them lots! :)

And I finally collected my 1 Malaysia book vouchers!
Everyone loves freebies eh? Thank you Ah Jib Gor!!! =P

Carmen's 'Not so sweet' 20th Birthday Celebration!

Obviously the title said it all! I'm going to blog about my best friend, Carmen's 20th birthday celebration! Why I put 'Not so sweet' there is because 20 years old is no more teen! Imagine your juniors call your name with a JIE behind it. Sounds scary isn't it? =P

Well, this time I'm the planner of her birthday celebration. And I realized that I'm such a bad planner because I get so stress up easily due to minor problems. Oops! I guess this is my first time and the last time I become a planner eh? LOL!

Anyway, the plan went on smooth, fortunately. We had our dinner at The Social, which is located at Publika. It was my first time trying out the food there, thanks to Pearly, who suggested the venue. And the food is awesomely delicious! Just one thing, the food and drinks are kinda pricey. A glass of water costs around RM 7! Well, I guess good food all comes in a high value of money eh?

The plan was like this :

1. First, we fetched Carmen to Publika. We were supposed to meet her another gang of friends there, but she didn't know about this. This is considered as her first surprise.

2. Her another gang of friends prepared the birthday cake and passed it to the waiter. And everyone of us were REQUIRED to bring a PAD as her 'present'. You will know WHY later! Heee!

3. Then, we were supposed to blindfold her to the restaurant because we need to collect their presents to put them in the box we prepared, without her knowing. The plan changed because there were too many people there that time, and we were pretty sure that she won't let us to blindfold her in a huge crowd area. In the end, my friends collected the presents and pad from the gang in the restaurant while I kept Carmen occupied with my injured leg. LOL!

4. We met up with the gang in The Social. And she wasn't surprised at all. She saw Catherine line with me the other day so she already expected the gang to join us for dinner. This surprise was considered as a total failure. Eeeeeee!

Fish n chips - RM 30

5. LingSze, Catherine and Pearly in charged of preparing the presents and pads in an isolated place while we had our dinner. The presents we prepared are a box of 20 presents in it (since she is 20 years old this year) and 百家pad! Well I believed everyone knows what is 百家被 right? We decided to modify the whole idea of 百家被 into 百家pad.

This is what we called a 百家被 .
Where they collect all the clothes from people around them and sew all the clothes into a blanket.
It is a form of blessing, with good luck and health.

So we modified it to become a 百家pad instead!
Where each of us donated one pad and then, we sticked all the pads together.
It became a problem when we found out that this 百家pad was too big to fit in the box.

In the end, we replaced the 百家pad with Poker Pads!
We sticked all the pads just like the photo shown above and we wrote our names on our pads.
So she will know whose pad she is using in future! Darn hilarious right? =P
Too bad we didn't take the photo of those pads because we were too shy to take it out in the restaurant. Hahaha!

All the 20 presents we bought are the daily needs like food, drinks, snacks, stationery and women' stuffs.

6. After that, we surprised her with the tradition birthday cake and sang birthday song together. And the final event of the plan was to take photo, obviously. It was indeed, a happy ending for this event, and I am really glad that the whole event went on smoothly and successfully although some part of the planning and execution of the event is a little cacat.

The birthday girl with birthday cake!

Cutting her birthday cake.

3 girls photobombed us! =P

Sisters! :)

And guess what present I prepared personally for her eh?
Since it's her first 20 in her life, I decided to prepare a self-made present for her.

Ta-da!
The huge card with all our precious moments together!

Must be wondering what are those sticky notes represent eh?
They are actually 'coupons' that are specially designed for her. And I used sticky notes to cover them to create some suspense for her.

The coupons, with funny messages on it.

There is a pink letter at the bottom of the card right?
There are photos and polaroid film we took previously.

Yours truly with the pretty birthday girl!
Am so glad to have her as one of my best friends x sisters in my life.

Alright, I will end this long post with this photo!
This is our so called nerd look pose, but it seems like all of us bring out a different meaning eh?

Say hello to my 'Transformer' shoe!

Well, I have a good feeling that my leg is recovering really fast. The pain and swollen part starting to reduce, but I have no idea why my skin is peeling off like nobody business. It creates a huge trouble for me when I take shower everyday. The skin keep peeling off when it touches water. I tried to remove it by rubbing against my skin, and it ended up the skin peels off, like non-stop progress. Looks disgusting! :(

Anyway, I got myself a one-sided 'Transformer' shoe in order to speed up my recovery progress. I called it a 'Transformer' shoe because it's huge and bulky. Imagine I have to wear it everyday TO SLEEP! How uncomfortable it is eh? But the good news is, I can remove it anytime I want. Means I can scratch and wash my leg everyday! Hee heeeee! :)

This is it, my Transformer shoe! LOL!
The real name is called some SP Walker or Aircast. I've no idea.

The pump comes together with the shoe.

When I wear the shoe, I need to pump in the air so that my leg wouldn't move around inside the shoe. It's some theory of pressure. And after wearing it, I need to remove the air before I take off the shoe. Kinda complicated right?

I have to wear this 'Transformer' shoe for a minimum of 3 months I guess. Which means I need to wear this huge thingy to my uni when my 3rd semester starts later. I'm trying to learn walking with just using one side of crutches, but my leg hurts badly when I exert my body weight on my injured leg. I'm waiting for my 3rd appointment next week so I can ask the physiotherapist to teach me how to walk using one side of crutches. I don't feel like using wheelchair in my uni because it definitely will create troubles for my friends and attract attention. Sigh. PLEASE RECOVER FAST FAST! I can't stand staying at home doing nothing!!! Mamamia! :(

One thing that I learn during my semi-OKU life :
Nobody will care for your appearance (like how you look or how you wear) when you go out using crutches or wheelchair. Their focus will always on your injured parts.

Say hello to my brick!

"I never know that my parents would fulfill my wish, as in like so SOON."

So yeah, I changed my phone, like finally! I haven't posted anything about my new phone yet, so I'm gonna blog about it. I always wanted to change my old phone junkie into smartphone because everyone is using Whatsapp and Viber now, while I don't even have it. All my friends are bugging me to change phone so they can chat with me FOC! LOL! Some of them even told me, "GO GET WHATSAPP, IF NOT I WON'T TEXT YOU ANYMORE!", "SEE, I TOLD YOU TO GET WHATSAPP, NOW YOU'RE SO OUTDATED FROM ALL THE LATEST NEWS", as they chat in their whatsapp group.

Initially, I don't really wanted to change phone because I already have an iPad, and I don't want to waste such a money to purchase a new smartphone. I rather spend the money on food and studies. Typical big eater and nerd eh? =P

Then recently my sister wanted to buy a new phone too. She told my parents about the BENEFITS of having a smartphone they were convinced by my sister. So my parents decided to give the BOTH OF US a new smartphone each. We were overwhelmed by this news few weeks ago, and we started to search for our desire phones. I shall officially, thank my sister here. Her CONTRIBUTION gives me a smartphone! Hahaha!

Then on last Friday, we went for shopping in One Utama, and we bought our phones from Samsung! My sister bought her Samsung Galaxy S Advanced, which costs around RM 999 while I purchased my ultimate desire phone, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which costs around RM 2299. I actually wanted to purchase Note 1, but they are no more selling it. I ended up buying Note 2 then.

My sister and I both told our parents that we wanted to fork out some money to buy our phones. So we will appreciate more and take care of our phones better if we use our own money to purchase the phones. In the end, each of us fork out a quarter of the phone's price.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

They were kind enough to give me free original phone cover, memory card and screen protector.
I was pretty surprised that I didn't get the pink cover.
Once I imagined to get a white colour smartphone in pink cover.
However, I get the blue cover in the end. LOL!
It looks like a brick if you ignore the blue colour, isn't it? =P

Anyway, this brick cover should be able to protect my phone from 'accidents'. Haha!

Titanium Grey - the colour I chose!
And I was surprised again that I didn't get the white colour one.
Instead, I get the titanium grey one, which is quite man and cool.
I don't know why, but Titanium Grey just caught my eye instantly on the spot.

I'm still in the process of adapting this phone because I'm not really familiar with the features. But I think I'm lovin' this phone, and I will use it wisely. Appreciate with what I'm having right now. =]
