The one and only ARTSPHERE 20/8ty

That's right! I had been to my first ever Artsphere in The Atmosphere @ Seri Kembangan a few days ago. The Atmosphere is a new shopping mall which serves as a hub for the arts, culture, nature, lifestyle and community. The retail lots at `The Atmosphere’ are ideal for specialty stores, showrooms, boutiques, bistros, cafes, restaurants and banks.

Well I'm being the typical *jakun* girl, snapping photos and posing like a wild kid here and there around the Atmosphere, which is currently filled with 80 3D and interactive murals. As you all know, I never been to any ART-istic places before, even the very bery feh-mes Penang Mural Street - I've not step my 'historical' foot on that beautiful piece of land lol!

Wondering why it was called the Artsphere 20/8 ty?
Well this concept pays tribute to the 20 talented artists, that awesomely created 80 pieces of mural artwork, making The Atmosphere the single location with the highest collection of mural art in Malaysia. What's more? These mural arts are 3D masterpieces that will interact with onlookers!

Mr Khoo Boo Hian - CEO of Tempo Properties, gave a welcome speech + a brief introduction about The Atmosphere.

Opening ceremony.

An opening performance by the Violin Lady *I didn't manage to get her name, so I shall named her Violin Lady since she played the violin so magically perfect!* + a sudden flash mob by various characters *Chun Li, Super Girl, The Avengers, Dark Vader etc*

A group of singers singing accompanied with beautiful violin music.

And street dance performers surrounding us, performing their dance tricks during flash mob.

Miss Haze Long (the lady in red) - the founder of Art Misfits + the leader of mural artists for Artsphere!

The talented mural artistes!

After the grand opening performance, I continued my search-for-80-mural-arts-assignment with my friends - Stephanie and Carmen. We had a tough time searching for the EIGHTIES, and in the end we failed our assignment lol! We only found around like, 50 murals maybe?

Stephanie and Carmen happily showing off their Instagram invitation card!

Ready for the photos taken in the Artsphere? Actually we spent most of the time thinking what to pose, and which angle to take the photo, instead of exploring the location of 80 mural arts lol!

Do note that, there is a FOOTSTEP SIGN on the floor around the mural that signal you where to stand and take the photo! A QR CODE is placed beside the mural too, so public can just scan the QR code to get an idea of the mural and artist! Convenient isn't it? :)

Best photo of the day - their epic face expression!
Carmen and Stephanie running out from the building due to fire.

So call me maybe? :)

"Alice in Wonderland - A Mad-tea Party"

I gotta said this is my favourite mural artpiece among all that I had visited!
Totally amazed with how 3D and interactive it is! :)

Hmph! I shall grab your green balloon hehe! *evil grin

Not to mention, they also have other activities such as Christmas carols, Mimes, Stilt Walkers, Juggler, street dancers, clowns and street magic.

Goodbye my fabulous Year 2!

Yes, the title said it all, and I finally finished my Year 2 with 'tones of injuries' lol! It was quite a torturing semester as I were to take quite a few business modules which I really really really DISLIKE! I have no idea how business students survive because all those business theories and facts were so troublesome to memorize. All those IMF, exchange rates, international business strategies and other boring facts drove me crazy when I studied for my finals last week. And fortunately, everything is a past, and I'm glad everything is over now, no matter how my results would be. *Have already prepared for an resit examination LOL!*

Well, what's most interesting driving-me-crazy experience in my previous semester was the time when I learnt Dreamweaver! P.S  Dreamweaver is an Adobe software to develop a website for those who don't know. Seriously when my lecturer thought us step by step to create a website in class, I was practically like WOW WOW WOAHHHHHH! Because whatever images, texts, effects or codings we inserted, then when we previewed them in Safari, it was really WOAHHHHHH because everything was like so real, THE WEBSITE CAN FUNCTION like any normal websites, and and and, the most important thing is, I DID IT ON MY OWN!

My last assignment was to create a website with own creativity and incorporate it with Flash animation. It was a tense period since we had to cope with finals, other assignments, a website and a Flash animation, particularly website and flash took most of the time to complete it.

You can check out my flash animation via instagram HERE
Super happy + proud + more proud when I completed the animation although it's not pefect.
The efforts that I put in was worth all my time and sleepless nights!

Alive or Dead?

OMG!! Just realized I have not updated my blog for 'YEARS'!!! Can't believe I just sort of 'abandoning' my bloggie owh dear! Forgive me, as I was really busy with my uni life and work *duhhh, another excuse for myself*. Well, I was actually unmotivated to blog, I don't know why. I have an urge to stop blogging due to some personal reasons. But I'm trying to hold myself, trying to not stop blogging because from the beginning, as blogging is always my passion, and part of my major turning point to switch from science to mass communication. I don't feel like giving up now...

Officially, 20.

It was exactly a week after my birthday, but I still feel like my birthday is somewhere around the corner lol. I would like to thank to all my uni mates, high school buddies and family that spent so much time planning surprises for my first 20, and indeed, this was my BEST birthday celebration ever! The love and care that they gave me is like so so so soooooooo much, totally indescribable!

First, my sister surprised me with hokkaido cupcakes when the clock striked 12 am in the morning on my birthday! Too bad I wasn't in a 'good' condition to celebrate with her because I wasn't feeling well that time. I was actually lying down on bed sleeping trololol! Feel so guilty for not celebrating happily with her. Anyway, thank you my beloved sister!!! <3 p="">
Then, my uni mates purposely ignored my presence in class, like they skipped class and showed me 'smelly faces' throughout the day. I was pretty sad that time because I thought they were angry at me or something. =( I was supposed to have dinner with 2 of my best friend in uni that night, but it ended up having dinner with my 17 lovely uni mates! They came in one by one, telling me different excuses *which I wasn't suspicious at all* then joined me for dinner. I guess I'm easily cheated eh haha? =P They surprised me with my favourite oreo cheesecake and 'dumped' my face into the cake lol! so-called tradition ehhh?

Owh dear, here goes my face! :(

Kellie, Jessica, Jasmine, Wildson, Jason, Carson, Elaine, Jessie, Pehwen, Mei Xuan, Ju-ann, Win, Yeewen, Louis, Alex, Justin & Felicia - They all are such a good liar weyy!! Spun me around like a fool, but they gave me so much memorable memories! How am I not in love with them ehh? =P

And when I opened my car boot, I saw this bunch of balloons Owh mai godddddd! This was first in my life time receiving so many balloons!

And and and, there were candies and personalized message in each of the balloons!
*I want to cry so badly!*

Elizabeth Arden perfume!

And my favourite author-Cecilia Ahern novel! =]

And a beautiful 'pot' 'watermelon' roses and flowers!

And yesterday, my high school sisters surprised me the most in my house!!! I was doing my presentation slides in study room, and suddenly they entered my room *total silence, not even with any footsteps* with a birthday cake and sang a birthday song for me! Although it was like super belated birthday celebration, but I was really really happy that they still remember my birthday, and we are still in a superb close relationship after we graduated from high school 3 years ago! This kind of friendship, where to get ehhh? :)

They asked me to come out from house, then they started spraying me in white snow! They said they want to celebrate christmas with me lol! And I'm the perfect SNOWMAN of the day! After that, they showered me with cold water to wash off the white snow omg! It was drizzling that time somemore! T.T Indeed, my COLDEST surprise ever in my life! =P

Thank you my sisters! You all never failed to make me as crazily happy as now! Can't survive without you all! Love love love! <3 p="">
